Holiday drop 2025: charmed

This is a small drop anchored in history, growth, and human connection. Each necklace is two-in-one, because the center charms can easily be removed.

Every piece incorporates different vintage beads, pearls and charms from all over the world. At a time when immigrants rights are under brutal attack, it is important to support those who are doing the vital work of fighting for the rights of asylum seekers in the US. With that in mind, 15% of the profits from holiday sales will be donated to MiTlalli, an NYC-based organization doing just that. Mi Tlalli means "My Earth" in Nahuatl dialect.

Enjoy the drop!

Summer drop 2025: protection and delight

It has been a whirlwind summer, with lots of deep-water swimming (figuratively) and delight. This collection, far-reaching and delicious, is a reflection of that. Importantly, it includes my first exploration of chainmaille, featuring vintage components, pearls, and things found on the shore. Chainmaille is a very focused and difficult process, and the results are delicious. Enjoy!

August: Conversations with Bright Future

I turned 30 this month, I have spent a year diving into true silversmithing practice, I have over the years been so inspired by the music of Adrianne Lenker, whose most recent album explores many themes that feel incredibly relevant to my personal journey. Her lyrical curiosity, honesty and bravery are an inspiration to me. This small collection represents a conversation with her album Bright Future, and a huge step forward for Tessa Creates. Check it out here!

February: Tender Moments

As we stumble through winter, I am so grateful for tender moments - with friends, family and loved ones. These pieces are a reflection of those moments.

November: Len Loon Collab

It is so beautiful, the world of makers. Last year, as I started Tessa Creates, I was able to connect with artists of all mediums. I was drawn to the work of Len Loon, who makes vibrant polymer clay charms. Lynn was kind enough to send me a selection of charms, and I let their playful structure guide me. Through working with them I found a new structural delight - hand-formed wire links. I love wire, and used to work with it often. This is another return to myself!

August: 1 Year of Glimmers

I feel so lucky to have been able to dedicate time to making jewelry this year. It is a return to myself and a true exploration of the concepts that guide me: intimacy, ritual, history and delight. The Glimmer Collection is a small drop of one of a kind pieces, made with delight.

April: The Helen Collection

I have long been a deep admirer of Helen Frankenthaler’s work. Her depth, playfulness and vulnerability. Her daring use of color and commitment to exploration and change. I dive right into each painting and I would happily live there for a while. This small collection of necklaces and earrings was my conversation with her work.
