This necklace is made with garnet, carnelian, coral and sunstone beads, and it is anchored with a stunning vintage Taxco charm, the moon and a star inlaid with turquoise. If you wear it to the Parthenon, someone who looks very cool will tell you they love your necklace. Probably if you wear it anywhere else, as well. The charm is removable, so it can be a simple beaded necklace as well!

Taxco silverwork from Taxco, Mexico is among the most celebrated and respected in the world. It is rooted in forward thinking and Mexican identity. A lot of my work incorporates vintage charms and beads from all around the world. At a time when immigrants rights are under brutal attack, it is important to support those who are doing the vital work of fighting for the rights of asylum seekers in the US. With that in mind, 15% of the profits from holiday sales will be donated to MiTlalli, an NYC-based organization doing just that. Mi Tlalli means "My Earth" in Nahuatl dialect.
