Charmed, Garden

Charmed, Garden
Oh my goodness, I could wear this necklace every day, and I will if you don’t buy it. The charm, a perfect vintage sterling silver flower with a green stone in the center, is removable, but I honestly don’t know why you’d want to. A sweet pink tourmaline connects the clasp to the rest of the necklace of vintage Japanese pearls. In therapy I called this necklace “just” cute and then I had to apologize because first of all, its simple and playful and delightful (simplicity and play and delight all being profound) and SECOND of all, what’s wrong with cute? I’m cute. You’re cute. Cute is effervescent and makes the world go round.
length: 19 inches
materials: sterling silver, vintage pearls, front hinge clasp, tourmaline
A lot of my work incorporates vintage charms and beads from all around the world. At a time when immigrants rights are under brutal attack, it is important to support those who are doing the vital work of fighting for the rights of asylum seekers in the US. With that in mind, 15% of the profits from holiday sales will be donated to MiTlalli, an NYC-based organization doing just that. Mi Tlalli means "My Earth" in Nahuatl dialect.
